The American Quilter’s Society (AQS) is an organization focused on the passion for quilting. AQS has multiple divisions dedicated to membership, events, publishing, online education and eCommerce.
QuiltWeek
As the brand manager and lead designer of events, I directed the rebrand of AQS Quilt Shows and Contests to QuiltWeek.
The 2015 campaign was designed to emphasize the brand refresh. To drive brand awareness, a unique look and feel was created for each of the seven (7) events, located throughout the U.S. We created pieces for print, digital, email, television and radio to promote each event.
I AM AQS
This campaign was developed to focus on growing the membership of AQS. The messaging was centered on the phrase I AM AQS, to emphasize the inclusion, passion and camaraderie of the individual members. Buttons with vivid patterned were designed and given to members during QuiltWeek events to grow ground level awareness. New photography and graphics were created to enhance the campaign and message through email, print advertising and direct mailings. These efforts drove the AQS membership to more than double in a three year period.
iQuilt.com
iquilt.com is a quilting education platform for students of all skill levels. The courses are taught by top quilt instructors in the industry. I served as art director for the development of the brand and collaborated with my team to develop the logo, color scheme, graphic elements, website and backdrops for studio set designs. For the launch of iquilt.com we crafted a campaign through print, digital media, video and event appearances.
